Scary Baboon monsters: identify encounters and verify mechanics
Compare two encounters visible in current developer recordings: the Mimic in the Halloween lab and the Black GooGoo arena boss. Keep observed clues separate from untested strategy.
Match the game before the monster
These cards concern the main Scary Baboon, Meta app 6458628580871969, linked by its developer. They do not describe SandBox, Huss Baboon uploads or Roblox experiences. Use the Scary Baboon hub if your listing differs.
A current public player comment reports repeated deaths to the Mimic. That is evidence of an encounter problem, rather than proof of how its AI works. The two cards below use dated developer recordings checked on October 18, 2026. The game build number is not established by those recordings; match the scene and current in-game prompts before applying a detail.
Mimic: Halloween lab encounter
| Check | What the evidence supports |
|---|---|
| Recording and scene | October 10 developer video, 7:27 onward: a red-lit lab corridor encounter. |
| Visible sequence | Around 7:32 the encounter is farther down the corridor; around 7:42 a glowing red figure is close to the viewpoint after the intervening weapon interaction. |
| Voice clue | The developer’s announcement describes voice imitation; the recording’s captions repeat the presenter’s earlier speech. This guide has not tested voice capture or its conditions. |
| Important counterexample | The same video discusses a Mimic soda around 6:10. An item with that name is not evidence that its user is the monster. |
For identification, keep the scene, visible approach and repeated voice together. A familiar voice alone is an incomplete clue. The recording does not establish an exact detection radius, spawn interval, movement speed or a guaranteed escape route.
Black GooGoo: arena boss encounter
| Check | What the evidence supports |
|---|---|
| Recording and scene | September 18 developer video, 6:07 onward: a large boss encounter in an arena, rather than the Halloween corridor above. |
| Visible identifiers | Around 6:17 the viewpoint is beside red-handled levers on the boss’s back. Around 7:02 a giant dark boss with a bright red mouth is visible across the arena. |
| Mechanic to verify in your session | The official announcement links back-lever interaction with stunning the boss. The recording shows the lever approach; record the actual response in your session before treating it as a successful stun. |
| Important counterexample | The video also shows GooGoo-themed pets before the fight. A pet’s name or appearance does not identify a roaming enemy or establish that the arena encounter has begun. |
Use the arena and back-lever clues together. This is an identification card, not an accepted loadout or boss-clear strategy. Narrated damage totals and claims that particular equipment makes the fight easy have not been measured here.
Make your own encounter card
Complete this locally when the observation is already available; you do not need to buy equipment or deliberately trigger a death to fill it in.
| Field | Record |
|---|---|
| Exact game and visible version | App ID, displayed version if available, or version unknown |
| Mode and scene | Corridor, arena or another location; distinguish a pet/item from an enemy |
| Identification clues | Appearance plus scene, rather than a name or sound alone |
| Before → action → after | What was visible before an interaction, the interaction, and the resulting behavior |
| What remains unknown | Cause, numerical parameters or anything the clip does not show |
| Evidence to keep | A short continuous clip with a timestamp, if you choose to make one; remove private names/chat before public sharing |
Compare the result with the dated source, then use the developer support preparation guide for an unexplained repeatable result. If the problem is loading or joining rather than an encounter, use the connection checks.
Other monster names need their own current evidence before joining this index. These two encounters do not establish rules for every mode or an older video with the same character name.
